I think on some level she might legit not see it.
That would be an interesting psychological trait, that she’s unable to process visually abstract figures to see what they’re supposed to represent. Wonder whether that would be a personal trait or a racial one, shared with all other spider-folk.

Rather than pessimism vs optimism, I think she just takes it too literally somehow. Like "oh, that's not exactly how a bunny looks, so it's not a bunny".

As a brother of 10 year old, yes it does. The food either must look Delicious, Cute or Cool (Dinosaurs and such). I like cooking and cutting vegetables so it's a joy to cook up and decorate food for this brat. :lul:
