the basic rundown i have so far is that:
Nagatoro is a bitch, and doesn't realize she goes too far until its too late.
Senpai lets stuff happen but has set boundaries.

Yup...definitely would have walked away. This version of her doesn't actually love him...she's just a sadistic bitch that gets off on hurting and causing Sempai distress. He simply fills that need for her perfectly so she's obsessed with him and probably possessive of him, too. Shame this Sempai is a masochist...as that's the only way this kind of fucked up relationship works. It's like the battered wife/girlfriend still being with her abusive husband/boyfriend, almost.

@Bunket lol Boundaries? Where? He's a masochist that lets her walk all over him. Sometimes she goes to far and he actually manages to get mad...then forgives her because she says sorry and doesn't want to lose her pet. There's no boundaries set because he allows her to do it all over again. Like I said above...it's like a battered woman and her abusive lover(except they're not even lovers)...just reversed.

@Kami_Nana I wrote this comment when I was only up to this point, and goddamn you're right.
Beta-Senpai actually made me sick reading the later chapters, like the literal ass-kicking scene made take a little break.

Senpai just needs to screw that meanness right out of her. Nagatoro is all offense and would be like putty if senpai took the initiative with her. Look at those spats, senpai!

I feel like she's talking to a dead corpse

LONG POINTLESS RANT:
It's just my opinion and I'm not saying that the serialized manga is also not good when I didn't even read it yet, butttt I don't like mangas that have sadists and masochists like this. It's just so sad and how these things work and specifically in this one where it was 1st POV makes you put your self in that position right? so seeing quote on quote "my self" there not being able to do what I want makes me feel defenseless and like any normal person don't like that.
from the begging or this chapter, we didn't hear him say anything himself so it feels like she's just imagining all this stuff about him making all these facial expressions and talking to a literal dead corpse and remember how she was dragging him in the last page? That really looks like a dead hand too me

And for that 1% wondering if I'm gonna read the serialized version the answer is probably not

Thank goodness the serialized manga didn't follow this path. Those are just sad.

@Shareazu ikr? I feel like it would have a physiological tag cause the senpai definitely would've had S tier depression. While Im reading this I'm just thanking God that the serialized version didn't follow the same path cause at that point it'd be WAY to hard to read.

This version of Nagatoro would have married Senpai and then created deep faked pics of her having an affair with other guys to send to him as he commutes home from work as a joke.
