On a less sarcastic note, being able to intuitively know how to use any given relic in the most optimum way isn't nothing. Especially since he can overdraw a relic and turn what was a simple tool into a single devastating attack that would reduce a city block to rubble.

That's not to say this makes him the best person to be the vanguard, but it does give credence to his nickname Infinite Variety [Myriad Tools]. And TBF, it might be a good thing he is such a coward, otherwise he would be a greater menace then Sitry and Liz combined.

They are still in a lvl 8 treasure vault - Night Palace. Liz left early to see Krai... The vault boss is a swordsman-type and is stronger than Luke. This is mentioned when they were drinking at the bar.

Now, I can't find where I actually read this next part so I may be remembering wrong. Sitry returned after they fought the boss, but the rest have been camping (waiting for the boss to either respawn or heal) so Luke can keep trying to solo it since he's a battle-maniac.

With over 500 relics in his possession, balance has already been broken. Even then, as proven just a few chapters ago, he has an entire guild that is used as a mana charging station. So if he really needed to he could cycle thrue his toys and just hand them off to be charged. Then repeat as needed.

The party is still exploring a treasure vault. They thought they were done so Liz bounced, then some strong enemy showed up. Sitry left to watch Liz and the rest are still there. This has already been explained, it's just five years of publishing this manga has been like a month in this world, if that. This arc is book 3, the party finally comes home at the end of book 5. Cry is good with relics, but it's not really a power. He's talentless, things just sort of work out because everyone else is so impressive and he gets absurdly lucky.

He's indeed weak, "abnormally" weak to be exact.

I don't know if the author is planning anything with this setting so I will put this in spoiler just in case but his body is abnormal in a bad way because normally just by venturing into the vault will make you stronger by absorbing the mana in the vault so theoretically even if Krai didn't do anything when he was still venturing the vault, he should still have some combat power just by EXP sharing but his body actually can't absorb the mana for some reason.

Again, I don't know if there's any secret in his body that author is planning to reveal down the line or it was just another quirk that author give him to make him as weak as possible.
