I don't know how we can blame Cry. At this point he has outright told them numerous times in clear explicit words that he's worried about Tino's wellbeing. This latest time they took "No training while on vacation." to mean "If she dies, she dies." It's well beyond Cry's words being irresponsible. Everyone around him twists everything he says and every action he makes so much. After a certain point there's nothing he can do and that's the entire premise of the story.
