it isn't hard to tell what is going on, if you want to blame someone, blame the translator, they clearly use machine translate so anything too complex will be mistranslate.
Other translator also tried to work on it too but Brutalbot scans seems to want to keep trying it even though the raw is up to chap 38 now and we still have nothing

tried my best, got to ch. 20, but god damnit man the mc is annoyingly dickish. It was a bit funny at first like "haha drawing of MC on the verge of barfing" during his internal thoughts is silly but then it just.. keeps going. we get it the MC is a wuss and gets queasy at the slightest hint of anything complicated. Plot armor also just doesnt serve his characterization at all. Shame cuz It could be good but smthn about the MC is jus too goofy

I enjoy this one a lot, it’s got that theme of insanely ridiculous aligning coincidences like The Eminence in Shadow, but on a slightly more practical level. And the MC’s power has yet to be explained but that synergy with the relics is something.
That being said, was this dropped for English? The Indonesian scans have a ton of chapters already released, but it’s been a few months now for English.

it has potential like the eminence of shadow but it slowly losing the vibe of surprise, like a series of events that mc just guess but it came true cliches. I am ok with him not knowing shit but damn stop hiding behind the girls and try to fight with even 0% of winning then cliche happens. atleast i can laugh about it. but this mc just pathetic now wtf with debt arc bs.

But I agree, even though this is the slice of life portion of the arc, it’s losing a lot of the momentum that made it exciting at the beginning. Hopefully more happens soon and we get more hints of Cry’s odd powers/relics.

Like there’s legitimately no reason the author can’t just write the character as being the exact kind of person everyone thinks he is
If you rewrote this story with him actually being a devious, intelligent, strategic mastermind, absolutely nothing would change in the plot, whatsoever.
The only thing him being a loser adds is unfunny comedic moments, and undercutting of any possible action.

The supposed "humor" is that the MC is an idiot and everyone else think he's a powerful and devious genius.
That got boring after chapter 2. The only other thing the manga has for itself is the good art.
The whole "gag" became obnoxious by chapter 10. Dropped it around chapter 20 or so. Unreadable garbage....

Goddamn at first i thought Cry is weak but kind but no. This guy is a huge asshole. The guy always use other people and manipulate them with lies and shit. Even notorious pricks like Kazuma or Agent no. 6 are better than Cry, at least they're open about being pricks. I don't know how many chapters left i can handle...
