Genuinely agree with so many here. This series is taking FOREVER to get to the point. Why was he a baby for so many chapters? Why is he only 10 now? Why is he ignoring his old companions, one of which is clearly suffering a mental break that only he can fix? Why the flashback that absolutely no one asked for? Why is he so convinced that he has no way of convincing them of his reincarnation? He seriously has absolutely no information that only he would know?

Yeah this really felt very fillerish after the last chapter it should have focused on his past family or has passed allies not much progress in the chapter itself in terms of telling his backstory we've already know he was treated bad

Personally, I think these flashback chapters shouldn't be done like this. The manga should have started out with a handful of chapters showing his mistreatment from his family growing up, to how he ended up with his party, and the ultimate fight with the demon king. Think that's better than going into a flashback arc just 8 chapters into it. Kind of ruins the pacing and pisses people off more because of how long we'll be stuck in a flashback. People would feel less annoyed over it if it just started chronologically.
