At my school we once had a teacher who had been caught doing inappropriate calls to girls students, he played it off as being jokes, I am glad he was sent away as the fact was making the class (mostly girls) uncomfortable.

I haven't really followed (such) news from Japan for a number of years now, but unless the scandal was actually a genuine crime resulting in police investigation, prosecution, and a sentence, the common policy was a slap on the wrist.

Just saying, but it's not just a Japan thing. It's common in most country for professor that abuse kids to never be punished, but just be changed school. Most of the time the school even put pressure on the kids to force them to shut up.

Has TL chama changed his opinion on the best friend yet. He's a good one to to support and help the MC realize his feelings towards her and how he views their relationship. Also gives him good ideas and also gave him a chance to talk more with her in the detour chapter. He checks all the marks of a good bro in my book

Now I hope the author doesn't turn him into something worse like he's actually a really bad guy who was trying to get with his sister the whole time.

I have no idea what Chama is, but yes, several chapters ago I saw Tanuki's friend as a good person.
