I do feel bad for her, I don't remember if this is accurate but it sounds like she recently learned that she's not related to them, and that would mess anybody up. She clearly loves her brother, she's just unsure if he actually loves her. It's sad really.

Based on some hints earlier seems she just got into this gyaru fashion recently likely to try to fit into the group of popular kids.
She probably was more plain before and got make fun for it

True but considering the type of manga this is theres two paths.
1- The teacher is the new antagonist and will try to blackmail FMC with her bad scores
2- Actually the teacher is a decent guy (but made to look creepy on purpose to trick us). He could even be an accidental wingman making FMC need to study and getting help from MC to get better scores.
I prefer the second, but there's a huge chance it will be the first.

I understand if a 'normal' teacher is concerned, but I wonder if it's really that common for female students to be 'ambitious', because despite some ppl 'looking down' on that kinda lifestyle, other than leaving it blank, i wonder if ppl would find it valid if some ppl just wrote down like "housewife" b/c even for office workers, they're basically expected to 'retire' after marriage and focus on having kids lol

Given how 'traditional' some japanese culture still is, wouldn't be surprised if it was looked down upon to be adopted/remarried as opposed to blood relations but she's just prolly just being stubborn and rebellious/acting out as well as an overall personality trait for now

Actually, PORRIDGE is a dish where you cook cereals, Oats, rice, chickpeas, they are all porridge material. More specifically, if the manga one was with rice it would be a congee.

It was mentioned before that she doesn't share blood with anybody in the family. So an adopted child, apparently.
It's not uncommon for adopted children to feel insecure about being 'abandoned' by their biological families and lash out against their adoptive families even if they love them.
