One throwaway theory I have is that Myaa summoned Dioota into this world as like some sorta warrior to help her defeat the demon lord or whatever, it's just that bringing him with her now is a highly impractical idea. But she still occasionally needs his brute strength to help her with one thing or the other, and so she's now bringing him along on a job.
And the basement is kind of a medium where her teleportation magic works the best or at all, that's why they went down into the basement to teleport into a jungle
And that big metal thing lying in the stairway? That's Myaa's unsuccessful attempts at trying to isekai something useful into her world

It's hard to say. How would you ask someone for help when they can't understand a single thing you're saying? The only way is to get them to follow you and then keep pointing at things for them to do. And Myaa had already realized the MC was someone out of the ordinary, so she trusted that he could help her with it, whatever it is.

I guess her surprise when she first saw him might have been because he was awake then, rather than just him being there?

Perhaps her teleportation might make use of specific coordinates which are already calculated, rather than the teleportation locations being in any way special.

not neccicarily, could be she has a knowledge of using it somehow, not neccicarily the intended way of using it, like using a gun as a metal club, not the inteded use but still hits hard

I assume the whole point of this trip is to teach Ryu what the thingies do. It would explain Myaa's horror from last chapter and her urgency in this one if she's like, "Stop hitting the compact nuclear reactor with a hammer, dumbass."
Is it a fire tower because it's in a desert or is there a desert because of the fire tower? Will we get water, wind, and earth towers?
