The more I read stories like this, the more I feel like the MC is just there. Like, I get it. It's a wishful thinking slop and it does get real cute and sweet because again it's a romcom.

However it gets old fast if all the drama you get is how much the other characters could get away with their antics before receiving any consequences. Sometimes, that type of behavior is even encouraged so it all "works out" in the end.

If you can tell that I'm still traumatized with "Can A Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?", how could you tell?
