That's not the reason why.Ya'll was right: Nanjou-San is serialized by Gangan Online, a subsidiary of Square Enix. The company instituted an "ethics department" to filter out sexual content, and have used an AI censoring program that sucks at its job. Things like putting black bars over knees, or this travesty of a chapter with inconsistent censoring of a bikini.
It's because Gangan Online is also available via app. And Square Enix publishes that app with the same developer account they publish their app games on. And since Apple got pretty strict rules regarding adult content they do this to not risk getting their account banned. As that would also take down their app games tied to the same account.
So in the end the censoring is due to Apples app store policy.
