I PR'ed this chapter and I cannot stress how much this reminds of Horimiya, but without HERO's writing skills. No offense to the mangaka or anyone else involved in creating this manga, but if you want a more nuanced story I would STRONGLY advise reading Horimiya if you haven't already. It's a genuinely good romance and I am not at all an unbiased source (I think I've read it like 5 times over). Who knows, maybe this story gets better, but for now I can't see it as anything but Horimiya at home xd.

The inability of manga characters to recognise classmates they see almost every day, especially if they wear glasses, is baffling.

Also, the premise of this story is maximally unrealistic, but I'll let that slide, fictive stories are allowed to be hilariously unrealistic
