tbh even if Reito told her what he doing aside from being said as adventure it won't help much. the cheater and ex are "Normal Japanese" inside the story line at that time which is

• Adventure are low tier job, trash. something people who got nothing to do in life will do.
• They also scary people, better be avoid.

which later fixed/improve later with his involvement anyway.

The only point of ex to date him is because she was a high school gal with delusion of "Adventure is strong,cool and use to flex with high school friend" like having high tier bully boy friend in other high school life gal would have.

So they have bias over having anything to do with adventure from the start. so it likely won't help getting a good look on him much with a label of "Adventure" stick on Reito. Still, Reiro did flex her enough money on each date that she also believe it to be just average, so her ignorant is also a part of whole thing as well.

Even though I'm still reading on occasion as I've stopped a few times, nice to know, kind of pathetic really that you got assholes who still are talking shit! Guessing him "Retiring young" has incured jealousy so of course they go the "you're just unemployed and struggling" because retiring young means he MADE IT BIG while they have not! But nice to know she has fixed things with Reito and are on friendly terms! Makes sense she is encouraging, after the "Event" it's the part of her character development I was expecting, she NOW is making up for hurting him by encouraging him not to give up on love! Found it funny how SIMILAR LOOKING she and Karen looked, even ACTED abit in how they met Reito, though Karen was more Kaori AFTER her character development kicked in! Likely WHY she sees her as a good fit for Reito, it's kind of funny with thos classmates, just like running into her EX after he went after his EX-Affair Partner! She's getting ANOTHER nasty look at the POS she use to be back then!

Let me guess, they were WILLFULLY ignorant of Reito's accomplishments as I listed above because CONSIDERING he was SUCCESSFUL enough to retire young, they'd have to admit he was WAY More successful then they were in life, and that would hurt their egos....just like Kaoru was back then, never CONSIDERING Reito was worth ANYTHING because it SOOTHE her ego, originally she shined BETTER being WITH him, then came to the conclusion she was BETTER then him, then had no regrets of hurting him as she did because she "considered it a FINAL LESSON about growing up" only yeah, she was FORCED to grow up herself when consequences hit, yeah it was unfair she lost her job like that, but then she acted UNFAIR to Reito and played it off as "the world of adulthood" so it was a case of "can't handle it when it's directed at her!" Tried to stay with the POS and make it WORK, which I'll give her POINTS that at least her FEELINGS felt real....but take some away when I remember that "technically" you could compare it to the start of HER and REITO'S relationship, where she was SO HAPPY AND IN-LOVE but add losing her job, and fnding out her "love" got a DEMOTION TRANSFER for what he did to Reito "on her behalf" it was just the "honeymoon phase" where he was GREAT and "Better then Reito" because she believed so and he was "fresh and new" only once his BAD TRAITS which were there, she just never noticed, or did, just never had them targeted at her before hit, wll that point she endangered herself as to not be a "Spendthrift burdan" felt like she was SCARED of losing him, because she threw Reito away, if she lost the one she threw him away for, "how would she live with herself!" Then all that shit happened, and at her LOWEST, the POS gave her a EXAMPLE of "IF they cheat WITH YOU" as he cheated on her, had NO REMORSE, though it appropriate to do so AFTER SHE WOKE UP FROM NEAR DEATH, mocked her injury, admit he only pursued her because of her looks, something Reito has never done before so that REALLY hit her where it hurt because it woke her up if the other parts didn't that she was LIVING IN DELUSION that she THOUGHT ever turning a CHEATING relationship into a NORMAL relationship as fast and blindly as she did

Living the Adventurer's life, meeting GOOD better friends, and finally UNDERSTANDING what Reito went through, did a GREAT job in helping hre depression that I was happy to see she was a FAR CRY. Must have been kind of funny, seeing those classmates act like she did back then and now understanding "how Reito felt" the same look of CRINGE at how some people can DELUDE themselves into a SENSE of self-importance ! It was like "wow how can that person not feel embrassed.....oh yeah I almost forgot I was like that abit WEE way back! Damn, it's scary how much one can make themselves IGNORANT to their own embrassing moments and consider them MOMENTS OF TRUIMPH just to avoid the humilating admission"
