Okay, the reveal that she wasn't driven out because everyone else is stupid, but because someone awful is prepping for a coup and needed her gone, gives this one some points.

Though it seems they still think she was a fraud? Did none of these of people ever just watch her in action?

Granted, the King who was actually friendly to her still completely wasted her talents instead of going straight to "can you teach other beastfolk magic?"
