I have to wonder if Japanese readers are as tired of characters never communicating simple things as we are.

There has to be a reason it keeps happening, and the only ones I can think of are a difference in culture between demographics or plain old laziness.

Except for Chapter 1 and 2 and the week break after Chapter 3, serie get published biweekly (every 2 weeks for those that get confused), they haven't changed publishing schedule, Chapter 4 was published on Jan 6th, Chapter 5 on the 20th and Chapter 6 is on Feb 3rd (since i get the "paid" raws, you can check next chapter date at the end of it), but in the end this schedule depend on the groups anyway
ah. no clue. i just work on whatever i get whenever i get it, lol.

At least this one has an actual good reason for the relationship issues besides just poor communication. "I don't want you to get fired," is by far more reasonable than what most romance manga use as an excuse.

That said, not talking to each other for no reason whatsoever. Still annoying.

No reason they can't be both. It only takes one out of thousands of those pathetic superfanatics to be totally off their rocker just enough to actually attack their idol.

That said, ugh, this is going to be another of those mangas where the entire drama comes from people being too stupid to communicate their thoughts even in the most basic of ways to alleged friends, isn't it? I very much hope I'm wrong, those are boring and tedious reads.
Do realize japanese sucked at communicate and always keep to themselves right? It even potray it in every manga in every genre. Its stupid yes and at the same time it is extremely stupid for the mc and every mc in every manga are like that because of their "Oh look i don't want to bother someone cause i might destroy their life".

Cause communication in manga is nonexistence at this point. Same goes for manhwa villainess or manhwa genre too

This isn't the sort of thing a Japanese person would keep to themselves. The guy discovered an online board of deranged people and chose not to tell the girl anything about it even though they have been friends for several years. If this was even remotely realistic, the guy would have told her about it for her safety. Imagine uncovering an online community of people who want to find where your friend lives and rape them and then keeping quiet about it. This isn't normal, not even for a Japanese person.

As much as those fans are already in stalker territory, I don't think that's enough reason for him to deny her her happiness. They can just hide it from public. Yeah, some lunatic might dig deep enough eventually and find out, but what are the chances? For all they know, they've been together in the game (and married there) for a while now and nothing was happening.

why would you as a company sell your artist as an idol? its actually something very damaging to them, because you are actually pandering to the guys that only get into them for their parasocialistic needs and not because they actually think they are actually good artists or singers or whatever, meaning you are only making money in a very risky way because at the slightlest slip like in this case everything goes to hell, you as a producer or whatever shouldn't try to sell teens like this maybe only adults because they actually know the consequences of all of this and probably won't slip so bad and be a little more responsible about all of it I guess.

Wow, how annoying. A MC that doesn't communicate to his friend about the situation he just found out about, to find out their desires in the situation. And instead just decides "yep, I better not be their friend anymore! Cause that is clearly what they want from me every time they approach me."
At least he has a halfway decent excuse "I can't see you because it would upset the people who want to kidnap you and lock you in their closet, and I can't tell you that people want to kidnap you because it would make you sad"

(Not a good excuse, sure, but at least not as bad as the average idiot ball excuse of 'imma not say anything for no reason at all')

I really don't understand why Japan let this mindset fester; why is it considered such a bad thing that you'd stop liking someone's work, just because they're dating.
One has to assume if you did this, you never liked their music and were there purely under some delusion that the girl would somehow choose you; it's so ridiculous and hypocritical.

Japan needs to start shaming this behaviour, and also start shaming the companies that purposely foster it.

I dont get the mindset of a fanatic idol otaku. They're human in the end, so ofc they're gonna be a relationship at somepoint. Why hate, or even worse send threat to your idol that you love so much?
I think it's one of those things that make no sense unless you're a fanatic idol otaku yourself

Or those weird anti-fans. They have no logic and are essentially legal stalkers with basically not brake system.

Its crazy but thats who the idol companies want cause crazy waste money on their obsessions.

This has some pretty spicy angles to it in a couple different ways. I was honestly hoping we'd be able to avoid the violently jealous simpy best friends trope here, but here we are I guess. I'm also picking up some faint yandere potential from her too, which could be fun later on.

The thing I'm most concerned about was the point his friend brought up about her fans dropping her if they found out she was in a relationship. If her producer/manager/etc finds out, they might tell her to either break it off or quit, if they don't just fire her outright.

For real though, the whole violent jealousy among male classmates thing when someone starts dating anyone remotely attractive is so freaking pathetic and stale, I cringe every time I see it. If you like her, either ask her out yourself or sit down and shut the fuck up.

As always, MCs, USE YOUR FUCKING WORDS SO THERE ARE NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS AND YOU HAVE A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EVEN IF IT'S ONLY AS FRIENDS.
