Imo this is trying to be too serius for the silly premise and as it was said the world building is just not got enough , i mean sure a pandemic is serious stuff but the silly thing is that they would be ashamed to show their mouths i just cant take this manga seriously and thus don't like the direction its going imo for this to be serious it needed a better and more consistent setting/world building, as it is i would be fine for a "lighter" story

i feel the same. i can't tell if it's about falling in love in a dystopia or if it's just a silly ecchi harem romcom. i can tell the mangaka is trying to say something with this setting, especially with the infection arc, but (for reasons unknown) he just can't seem to do anything with it

I wonder about the actual political leanings of the author. On the one hand, the manga is a lot like Atlas Shrugged and Starship Troopers where the core concepts only work because people only function the way the story says because the story says, but unlike those works, the author seems to be acknowledging the fact that the premise isn't an accurate depiction of how people are and is just a framing device.
Edit: Having read a few chapters in, actually the framing device is way more sensible than those RWL screeds, a vapor-born virus with an 80+% mortality rate would very much fuck with the entire world.
