You are free to follow the suggestion up there, but if you want to look for yourself you can just look for highly rated or higly followed manga.

Don't discriminate if it's not japanese work. When you know which tag you like just filter good works with the tag and enjoy.

I like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and used to watch DBZ back few years ago.
And in terms of movies.. I don't really watch them.
I mostly enjoys series that are related to fighting or super-powers (I just finished binge-reading the entire OPM manga that's currently available actually and I'm looking for more along those lines.)
