the characters development in this story is good, a lot of character development for almost everyone aside from worse kind of antagonist.

Yeah, I agree. It seems the author really is paying attention to the old toku tropes, its been agea since I watched Kamen Rider but a spider kaijin brings back so many memories. I'm also glad the rival guy didnt turn out to be so bad, although I suppose thats a trope in itself (I've seen a similar development in a couple other wish fulfillment stories).

I'm impressed that Marcos is setting his personal differences aside and keeping the bigger picture in mind. Happens rarely in these stories.
At the end of last chapter I expected it to go "I was the culprit all along, mwahaha."

That's because, now that he's here, it's not an Otome game anymore. It's now a Tokusatsu show.
