Is this gonna be the end of the manga and we're gonna end up blue balled? Who knows, but it was a fun ride if this is the end.

The author got in trouble with tweets or social media comments years ago involving some massacre the Japanese committed on the Chinese some 90some years ago, and ruffled feathers.

As a result, the (Chinese) backers for the anim pulled out

The next volume of the light novel is at the very least “on hold” with books in the warehouse,
And no, clue if thy will actually release them or not.

On top of that the manga... not sure what’s happening as there’s lots of material to catch up to...

So just your standard issue clusterfuck.

What makes it worse, is apparently Japan won’t “acknowledge” the murder and rape massacre...

@GodrickKharg

So it seem like Japan and Chinese are still enmity with each other.

This is just plain stupid if it were like that what does that have to do with anime.

Hard to acknowledge when half of it is unverifiable and numbers keep changing. 6 Million Jews remind you of anything?

Well, if the controversial comments were made years before the anime, how would the author know the repercussions of his tweets?
I'm all for people saying what they want; however, there are consequences out there (like losing investment opportunities).

Damn, shitty author fucking played himself and ruined a perfectly good manga. It was fun while it lasted. If anyone is curious as to why, start from the bottom of this thread.

Did the anime backers dig his years ago twitter comments just to cancel it? Just wow. Its like people digging a politician years ago statement before his appointment.
Edit: After reading more on the issue, the author is so stupid...
You just don't post that kind of issue on your public twitter.

It's known to have occurred regardless of the exact numbered amount.

This is the thing we're talking about if anyone else is interested:

It indeed accrued and Japan did acknowledged, why did you think they sent all those guys to trial. The biggest war criminal was Unit 731 leader Shiro Ishi and he was going to get the death penalty, but got full immunity from the US because they needed him. I still hear from people today that Japan wont acknowledge Unit 731, even though everyone faced trial.
