@Czarnobog I didn't mention Russians troopers because they didn't list those islands as having been taken; I'm guessing it's because those are still disputed?
The Ryukyu Islands are part of Japan, as far as full-on ownership goes, and the Kuril Islands are full of Russian Orthodox churches and have a pretty large Russian presence; they're pretty thoroughly Russified.... even if there are talks of reunification.

@Seraphus

From Japanese wiki

Apologies for google translate.

Q. What is the US Army in Japan doing?
A. The reality of the US military is that it will never move without an order from the home country, so Mr. Minoru basically takes the stance of not moving.
The editor also respects that intention, so you should think that he will not be active in the future.
For the time being, he seems to teach the SDF how to operate an aircraft carrier.
To put it a little further, the time to replace the fuel rods in George Washington is around Volume 4, so even if you want to move it, you may not be able to move it.

Q. What happened to foreigners living in Japan?
A. Apparently they moved to the new world together.
I am trying to acquire Japanese nationality and preserve my own culture. (Book version)

Q. Kunashir Island and Etorofu Island have been transferred, but what about those people?
A. That's it. Please do not touch it as it will be politically troublesome. This side, not here.
It seems that all the "portions that the Japanese government claims to be unique to Japan" have come to the world of work in progress.
So Minami Karafuto has not been transferred.

Very interesting! It's very cool that they took that into account, and thank you for finding that!
It's true that US troops don't do anything on foreign soil without agreement of the host nation (I mean, unless we decide somebody needs some Democracy, but that's different...), but most Marines (the ground forces on the famed Dragon Islands) are paladins at heart; I could see them asking to be involved.

Seems the G.Wash is there, so that answers that question! And yeah, you need to replace spent fuel rods every so often...

And I figured that was the answer about the other islands, honestly; gotta be careful with your political statements, sometimes.

Very cool, and thank you very much!

I'm sure it's been said in the 200+ comments here already but this really reminds me of GATE. These series pretty much have Japan as the god in these new worlds, but I don't dislike the theme, just view it as some sort of sadistic comedy or a twisted historical alternative history manga and you'll see the appeal.

Too bad the manga is so slow, there's some good war porn in the future.

I want to see Holy Mirishial Empire vs Gra Valkas battle.

Unfortunately its another "lol magic and spears are so weak xddd" series. Its really strange how there isnt any series where a medieval army goes up against a modern one and actually manages to put up a fight with magic. I dont think its a coincidence that there isnt one...wonder who would have an agenda in pushing the "guns are the best xd" view...

In before someone says "oh but it happens in mahou shoujo series!" (completely missing the point).

This series would be a LOT better if the natives had strong magic that could fight on par with tanks and planes rather than it being a one sided curbstomp that just wanks how amazing the JSDF is....

Well, yeah, spears are weak.
The only way medieval army can put up a fight is if their magic is so powerful as to be on the level of modern weapons, in that case it is not going to be a medieval army, but rather an army from an advanced magic based civilization, say, there's one mentioned right here and it is called Ravernal Empire.
