I think that title alone is all I need to know.

Why bother reading?

Still, thanks for the TL!

This manga doesn't have enough catgirls. Or wolfboys, in case it's actually a shoujo manga. Even though it has a nation of beastmen, why they just have pointy ears?

If you are going to make a story where the protagonist's race being different from the other characters' is important (to the point where it is clearly mentioned in the title), you can't just draw regular humans and call them demons ffs. Most mangas at least hotglue some pointy ears in their demons, which is hardly ideal but still better than this.

The humans are the ones pulling the strings, I'm calling it! It's just so obvious!

This is actually surprisingly interesting. The setting is really refreshing (its nice to see a manga featuring other species that doesn’t immediately start with how humans are the best and are warring others). The plot doesn’t seem like it’ll force itself to be too serious which just means a ton of fun. It seems like we’ll have conflict, but nothing super serious and we’ll see more stuff like the princess speech at the end (definitely gonna cause problems but who cares because it was hilarious). The MC could be less insanely dense though (when someone says they want to be with you forever, calls a walk a date, asks to hold your hand, and constantly gets jealous over you; you’re allowed to think they hold romantic feelings for you) and I would have liked to see more of the four heavenly kings raising Leon (like what did they teach him and how did they deal with another species baby).

@martinren123 hopefully she’ll mello out. She’s only like 15 here (and its not like 2/3 of the other students aren’t getting into petty conflicts) and don’t demons have a long lifespan? I am seriously wondering where the teachers are though

@WillTell God, I hope not. I wasn’t getting that vibe and I really don’t enjoy that type of complex sinister plot in series like this. Plus it would just be so cliché. The author did an amazing job of not giving me the same setting of a story involving demons and fantasy races that 90/100 of these series I’ve read have given (actually I haven’t read a series with this particular plot where the species of the world have already made such great strides toward peace and aren’t all (usually just humans) entirely intolerant of one another). I’d be pretty disappointed if this turned into another “humans are terrible and want to subjugate or wipe out all other species because we’re just the worst” (I mean its true, but I can look out the window and see that; Really don’t need it in a fun enjoyable series like this. Its like putting chunks of ice in my ice cream; sure it makes it colder, but it also makes it bumpy and rough to eat)

Human boy abandoned due to lack of magic power.

*Looks at human-looking demons, the races segregated into 4 continents with a central island for school on p.13

Humans-Demons
---island---
Beastmen-Elves

Who would cross an entire ocean to abandon a baby in a forest on a different continent? Not only that, but on the "Eastern" forest on the opposite side?

If the countries actually formed a ring around a massive lake, that's still closer to the "Elven" side of the Demon country.

Isn't he just an abandoned "human-looking" baby with a "lack of magic power?"
