This arc is probably one of the best in the whole series of Nisekoi, with only a few rivals. It contains dangerously high levels of awesome, funny and heartwarming.

Yeah, I remember watching this two-parter in the anime (episodes 3 and 4 of season 2), and it was phenomenal. The amount of work Raku puts in for Chitoge's sake... And he still insists he doesn't care about her? He's a stubborn, dense idiot. Still, major progress for the core relationship, here, despite that, and a mother and daughter reconnecting.

The thing is, though, that
if you look at the lengths that Raku goes through for Tsugumi, for Tachibana, for Haru ... heck, for the princess or even Ruri -- then yeah, it's plausible that he'd go to this length for Chitoge without thinking he's in love, because that's how far he'd go for anyone he thinks of as a friend. Heck, look at the time that one of the Shueigumi guys starts up a sweetshop in competition with the Onaderas, and how far he goes to help both sides. "He is the best man in his world and a good enough man for any world."

The... princess? Eh? Is this a character that didn't appear in the anime? I know Seishirou, Marika, Haru, and Ruri, sure, but I don't know what you mean by 'princess'. I'm basing my knowledge on what happened in everything that was animated for season 1, season 2, and the four OVAs, and what I've read so far up to the end of the 'Mother' arc here (just finished Ch62 a bit ago). I will note there was a character in the Magical Girl segments who confused me, as I don't recall the main universe equivalent appearing in the episodes proper at all (she was the 'head' magical girl who only appeared through a mirror?). I suppose that could have been this 'princess'.

My limited knowedge so far means I have no idea what you're talking about with what he supposedly does for everyone else. This arc feels like a herculean amount of effort for one person as it is, coupled with the number of times before where he's sprinted, full-speed, to find Chitoge, while leaving Kosaki in his dust in the process... And in my mind, they're the only two that legitimately have his attention, at this point. All the others are mild distractions at best from where my knowledge leaves off. And, sure, he spends time with these girls to help them with things, but it's nowhere near the same as taking on corporate workloads for several days in a row (plus the racing around with Chitoge on the night in question) just to make sure a mother and daughter can spend Christmas Eve together, in my mind. One cram session with Marika does not equate to a fraction of that, or time spent with Haru helping at the Onodera shop or nursing her back to health.

So I'm going to assume these are events beyond the smattering of chapters that were covered beyond this point in animated form.

But I'll just note that, at this point in the story (or, rather, at the end of this arc), it feels like Raku has done far more for Chitoge than anyone else.
