So, this has bothered me for a while now.
What is it with Isekai stories and the healing or buffing classes almost always being treated like garbage?

Is it just a RPG mentality in Japan? Because most JRPGs I play require loads of healing, buffing, and debuffing, in fact, those units tend to be the most important.
Or, is this the mentality of someone who started playing MMORPGs, and thinks DPS is the only class type to matter?
Are they all just playing dragoons?

:dogewow: his life path is like really taking on a very convenient route. how nice for him even thought he's not aware of it. plot armor all the way

not only does he have a common sense teacher, now he's also getting a swordsmanship teacher that doesn't discriminate. very cool for him.

as long as the class is not DPS at first sight, it's trash. that's it. that's why all the garbage class that rise to top story are either healer, porter, tanker, alchemist, blacksmith, cleaner, etc etc.

even today some countries still treat garbage disposal or construction as job that is for low people even though if you did it right, you'll get more money in it than doing office jobs. i remember that some cleaning jobs has much higher pay than being a teacher in america. indoctrination is basically what is happening, in my opinion.
