Yeah it was. I still think you could say giving up on something he genuinely enjoyed and had the skills in was self sabotaging, especially since Eunyung has potential in other areas (cooking) but something is holding him back from actually pursuing those options/being confident in those skills (which is why he made the sugar mama joke).
