I'm glad Marie realized how bad her situation was, and judging by her expression after faking a smile when her father said he loved her, I'm glad that possibly in the future she'll do the same as her aunt did with her family
That smile from Haejoon, finally having a good time with his friends gives me a thousand years of peace

man i love this outcome for her. it's this continuous theme in no home, the adults we were so afraid of, even might still be, one day you will realize they hold no power over you. One day you will realize that you can walk away from all of this, and that will bring you the peace you've been yearning this whole time. Those adults won't always have power over you. It's good that Marie is still gaining awareness of how unfair her situation was even if her dad's trying to save his own ass. He and her brother definitely knew what they were doing and bet everything on her being too unaware to vouch for herself.
Korean family drama is a hard read for me LOL Too personal I get way too mad
