Bro is the readers at this point :facepalm:give bro a break please
He's been relatable for awhile, it's just that due to his essentially super human resistances people stopped liking Rhito because he couldn't just push noa away for all her issues. But honestly when you're a guy who wants peace and quiet but people keep coming over to you it's hard (at least for me) to not pity them to a point i'll willingly entertain them.

Noa's dress keeps getting shorter and skimpier, Reni is a raging brocon, and Mika is just teasing and instigating all the conflict for her own amusement. Poor Rihito.

after seeing how Mika manipulates and enables her worse tendencies, I feel more sorry for poor brocon sis here, she has a genuine need to spend quality time with her brother, but her psycho friend doesn't let her channel that into a more healthy communication stream

I feel bad for Rihito, this isn't even a harem (yet)

This about to be a 50 cents documentary, the hidden dangers of harems

Rihito is also a part of the problem, frankly. His poor (if developing) ability to communicate is often the root cause.
THANK YOU, gosh, glad to see someone else notice this. All these comments whining about the chicks and here I am just seething at how useless rihito is. The guy is twice as insufferable as Noa or Reni, from my perspective. Every single one of their insecurities or anxieties would be fucking trivial to assuage and put to rest with the simplest of assurances (just look at how Mika can effortlessly manage Reni or Noas feelings) or explanations of his own feelings, but instead Rihito just sits there like an autistic rock and lets this shit happen after offering 1 or 2 half-formed thoughts on a situation. The dude is beyond "passive", he just has ZERO agency and seems not to give a fuck about anything besides putting in as little effort as possible, in relationships or otherwise. Doesn't visit family, doesn't maintain friendships, doesn't reciprocate affection and barely seems to understand why you would need to, doesn't commit anything more than the bare minimum of thought about others feelings or even his own, and is constantly somehow confused about the feelings of a woman who has all the emotional subtlety of a flashing neon sign spelling it out for him. Hoesntly, his character is the weakest part of this series, from my perspective.

You know, all things considered Noa's at least kinda improving? She didn't horrifically melt down as much this chapter. She's riding this high a lot longer than i expected

I've always been thinking of him as dense especially when you got a girl on your side basically saying "i am attracted to you" 24/7

If only Rihito and Noa could develop as characters together instead of Rihito being the same person he was since chapter 1 (Noa has made.. minor improvements but thats ight)

I do think the friction between the personalities of Rihito and Noa are what makes the series interesting. A lot of the time he really does contribute to things escalating just by how non-reactive he is, his philosophy of putting minimal effort, while relatable, is always shown to not work. I won’t say that’s bad, since it’s very much intentional and basically what moves the story forward.

Meanwhile we have someone like Mika, who knows how to deal with complicated people but instead of helping she’s just there for the fun of it.

The fact that this manga is able to provoke such strong reactions here is impressive. The passion on display, the tendency to take comedic characters seriously, and have people continue to jump to read the next speaks to the skills of the author. Good manga., very funny.
