I think this is both of their deficiencies colliding. She's incapable of respecting boundaries because of her intense neediness (obvious), and he is incapable getting close to people out of sheer cluelessness of how to form friendships. But Noa is still more abnormal by orders of magnitude.

But it was actually nice to see Rihito to gain some perspective beyond himself and compromise a bit.
