I wonder what the take on her voice will be. I always assumed it was stuck on the highest register and goes to a more normal tone when she despairs.
There were some old voice acted drama readings of some manga panels in the serie's twitter that fit nicely i think

Yes.

Because she's fictional.

Which is why she cannot by any logic be realistic to begin with.

Guess we didn't needed to wait for the Anime to reach Twitter, after all  lol
interestingly enough, im not the one who brought up realism.

also, do you think that a depiction being fictional precludes it from being realistic? why the fuck would you make that argument?

There's gonna be an anime? The doujin artists are gonna crazy with Noa. Since they tend to only draw whatever anime is popular at the moment.

One of my most liked comments on this forum is one about how in like, their FIRST meeting she basically calls him unmanly and is like, really insulting in a casual way where she doesn't even realize it.

There is now "slowly". She's obviously got serious issues right from the jump, and it only gets worse from there, lol.

But yeah, I too cannot wait to see exactly how the anime watchers react to her antics, and his as well as he has plenty of his own issues.

They definitely make each other better and worse at the same time, and low key kinda deserve each other cus not many would put up with either of them in a lot of cases. (Outside of his sister and her friend).

Either way, I'm really interested to see who they manage to snag for Nao, I feel like that's going to be a very highly in demand role with tons of great VA's vying for it.

To nxneil13: I think as guys, a lot of us are blind to the massive issues Rihito himself has, he'd be annoying AF to deal with IRL as well as a friend or anything more. Maybe not as loud and obnoxious, but still frustrating in his own way for sure. His blazé attitude in not wanting to deal with anything often makes her misunderstand him in ways that make her even more inclined to spiral.
Nahh, he's jsut an introverted dude tf. I would love to hear your reasonings THO and time and time again, Noa does and is shown numerous times to greatly misintepret nearly everything and get depressed about it.
If anything, Rihito is jsut tired of having to wait for Noa to stop CRYIGN OUT Loud for him to get her to stop misintepreting the slightest hint to something else.

I like this series and i feel people dont give it enough credit sometimes
With most chapters being literally the day after the chapter before it, you get a live feel on the progress on their relationship, there are subtle parts where you can tell they act different with each other:
Some noticeable would be "How does rihito tolerate such bullshit from noa?" and then they introduce his sister, or "Does rihito even like noa at all?" And then an entire chapter where he narrates how they met, pretty much saying that if not love yet, he most definetly admires her

I think because noa is so flashy youd end up ignoring when she straight up spells out that she loves him, but how she treats rihito has also progressively been more extreme on the love side, she constantly wants an indicator from rihito to where their relationship is from just "friends" to "best friends" to "special best friends" to the now "i'm a man" all answers from rihito, she's a ball of complete denial whenever she gets confronted by other characters to the "do you like him romantically?" question too

What i like is that if you are actively reading the story you get to all of these parts and interactions and as the reader should understand "oh, these two most definetly like each other" giving the usual tropes of romcoms a nice twist from the usual, "you read the characters thoughts" "they held hands and she/he got embarrased" "they confessed but they didnt listen" "they chickened out from a proper confession" "third girl appears" "one suddenly hates the other from some mundane reason" to indicate progress, while keeping the characters personalities, they dont suddenly do a 180 because the person they like said/did something good/bad to them
I feel some people treat it for what the romcom naturally is but somehow completely ignore or even dislike that the rom and com parts is somewhat more subtle or extreme to the usual tropes, with them saying how they dont like the main girl or the main guy, how little progress there is and so on
You signed up for a slowburn romcom where the characters "will theys won't theys", progress every chapter is written in days and events, you are expected to pay attention to the narrative and characters have personality traits that define them; there are much more dramatic series out there that are more worthy of arguing about serious romantic pointers and you chose the one that is about a cringy and a serious adult ocationally hanging out after work
Ok I think you just gave the perfect explanation of how brilliantly this series delivers the slow progress romance.

I really like this series a lot, its frustrating when i read comments going about how nothing happens despite so many nice interactions that build a nice story, makes me think if we are even reading the same thing when they act so dismissive

God damn, another crazie. But I guess it's a mild type of crazie, we'll see how Rihito's Crazie Magnet deprave this one deeper

I'm with you bro, this manga is great.
The comedy is fun and it found it's own unique way to portray progress in the main characters romance.
I very much like the feeling of how by knowing Rihito a little bit now, I can see how he unconsciously is accepting love even though, as you said, the author is making an effort not to show any of the usual 'he is finally falling in love' tropes in manga
