that absolutely makes sense because the joke is that noa is so impossibly annoying that even nanpas are like "what the fuck is this" and run. the entire premise of the manga revolves around her being the most annoying person to ever exist, it's completely on brand for her to be a virgin.

He doesn't EVER not care. Like ever. Throughout the whole manga.

Few examples: chapter 1 he doesn't want to get involved with her because he wants to conserve energy for his own alone time, typical introvert stuff, but then is moved by her passion and agrees to be friends. Chapter 2, Noa asks if she can call him by his first name and he says no. Then he relents after seeing her become really sad. Chapter 3, he was bothered by Noa being so attention seeking which comes up many times later on too, like not wanting to spend everyday of summer living with her. Chapter 5 the team leader asks if he's dating Noa and he's clearly irked by that and tells his boss he's annoying. There was a chapter(s) where he doesn't like her being too close physically.

These are just stuff I skimmed from quickly re-reading the first few chapters, and it's fairly consistent throughout. He's clearly opinionated, but is simply patient.
