Yeah, I thought the same thing at first. But then I remembered Al isn’t just “anyone” for Rama to hand over the “god-killing sword.” Al’s a prince with a legit claim to the throne. If Rama’s gonna fight for the unification of humans and demons later on, then having an ally in power is essential. If my bro is getting to tap that childhood first love, I am gonna give him whatever god-killing sword I have no question asked.
Maybe it works like in Fire Emblem where Al can hold it but not gain any protagonist powers from itNow, how does the whole sword-choosing system actually work? I guess Rama can’t just hand the sword to Al, unless Al is also “chosen” by it. Can there be multiple heroes, or is there only one “chosen” person?
Well she did say she could do it.She could do that the Whole time?! I get why she didn’t but still…
It wouldn't be farfetched for her to be able to loan out the sword to someone she chooses. Particularly since she can summon it whenever. It probably wouldn't be able to exhibit its full power to one not directly chosen. This ending totally surprised me. I really wasn’t expecting Rama to just, you know, summon the hero’s sword out of nowhere. I didn’t even remember she had mentioned this possibility in earlier chapters until you guys pointed it out. Now, how does the whole sword-choosing system actually work? I guess Rama can’t just hand the sword to Al, unless Al is also “chosen” by it. Watch be an ego sword, but the ego is a total bro, and is all, "let me help a bro out"It wouldn't be farfetched for her to be able to loan out the sword to someone she chooses. Particularly since she can summon it whenever. It probably wouldn't be able to exhibit its full power to one not directly chosen.
Or it could be a system where someone else can be chosen as the new generation, but this is a loophole/paradox where MC was reincarnated, let's there be two people who can use it.
And this is assuming it's something operating on hard principles, and not a ego sword that can make its own choices.
That's totally a given! That or worse still — making a demon lord hero forced to find a peaceful resolution to all the eons of wars between the races, and now a gender swapping MC, both male and female, both human hero and oni demon lord, rejected by all, but befriended by Kuma-kun, the outcast 3rd prince, will now unite all the peeps while the former demon lord lulz at the chaos and new world order they bring. LoL.Oh wow, she really did summon the hero sword. So both Reve and Krau consider her worthy, but from the nightmare she had, it appears the previous demon lord expects her to follow in his footsteps somehow, so she might not remain worthy. Or maybe the demon lord thought it'd be absolutely hilarious for a "calamity" blessed by both Reve and Krau to appear, and to be rejected by both humans and demons, which would lead to endless fights.
Still, just summoning the thing, and not burning up while holding it has got to trigger tons of questions from the prince; she's got to be aware she's going to need to spill the beans about being the previous hero. Will Krau even accept another hero?
