Ngl, I kinda laughed. Not because it felt like it took lightyears to finally address the elephant in the room but because she talked about the childhood friend as if she was Voldemort, he who shall not be named. It made me realize I barely even remember her anymore.

This entire story makes sense when you realize that Asmode is a Demon, and not only that, the demon of "Lust". I don't think she had any real intention of helping him get his revenger for the bullies raping his friend, but she's using him as an outlet for her to gain more lust. I'd go as far as to say that she's affecting his mind to slowly forget about his original goal.

She DOES have the intention to help him probably because she saw potential in him/finds him interesting (for either gathering lust energy or just spreading debauchery) but make no mistake shes doing it because their interests align and until now she is the one holding the reins despite just giving pointers and letting him lead

The fact that Asmodeus knew and didn’t say anything about Asuka sneaking out makes me half expect she’s playing some long game of “reaping” MCs soul after he does enough “depraved “ acts as opposed to like multiple “clients” just to slowly corrupt the world haha

assuming it isn’t just the authors fetish , since Confinement King has a similar story but the “Devil girl” in that series seems more “on Mc’s side” tho the adaption is still on going as well so can’t guarantee that’d necessarily be the same vs “Author: Gonna make two similar series but one is gonna have a Good End vs bad ending for the protag”

Confinement Kings devil is using the MC to support her war in the demon realm. Which is why she's so invested in having the MC succeed. As his power grows so does hers. Overall I'm glad this series is taking steps towards the real revenge but CK was so much better at getting to it even if the reason for revenge was weak.

I think a previous chapter when Asmo was talking to the guy/Nina’s ex bf that got framed the she “lost” her power or so and somehow helping mc gets it back or so

But yeah I imagine she doesn’t rly care if mc wins in the end or maybe will move on to another person to contract with

Having read this thread with all the spoilers makes me think that no one will win in the end and it is all very nihilistic. If Asmodeus is just out for lust "energy" she obviously doesn't care where it comes from, but also, surely this whole story is just a tiny drop in the ocean, and it doesn't really make sense that she would be involved for such little reward... Is it just a poor concept, as I can't think of anything that would motivate this story from her point of view, other than some mild titillation that she will soon get bored of. Unless she has countless other plots active around the world at the same time?

Chapter 46

Miku tells Asuka everything her brother, Mitsuru, does: that he rapes girls, takes pictures of them, and uses the pictures as blackmail to turn the girls into sex slaves. She also tells her that he is currently doing this to Azusa, the MC's childhood friend, and that it’s part of Mitsuru’s revenge plan against the MC. Asuka doesn’t believe Miku, and Miku tells her to check Mitsuru’s phone or computer — that she’ll find evidence there. Asuka arrives home and, taking advantage of Mitsuru’s absence, checks his computer. She finds the pictures of Miku and Azusa and is disgusted.

Chapter 47

Mitsuru is shown raping Azusa again. He is planning to get revenge on the MC for getting involved with his sister. He arranges something with Toshi (the guy on the phone in Chapter 36) and says he’ll show MC the real NTR.

Meanwhile, Asuka is thinking about what she found on Mitsuru’s computer. She can’t sleep and ends up missing school.

At school, MC runs into Sekido and tells her to make him something to eat, since later he’ll be heading to her apartment.

On the roof, Asmodeus tells Miku that there’s only one move left and it’ll be checkmate. Miku says it’s really cruel (Asmodeus’s plan), to which Asmodeus replies that she takes it as a compliment.

Chapter 48

MC is at the apartment with Sekido and Hina. Hina mentions that Asuka asked her for Miku’s contact information but told her not to tell MC. MC starts wondering what’s going on.

Meanwhile, Asuka meets Miku and Asmodeus at a park. She tells them she considered reporting her brother to the police but read online that they won’t take action unless there’s an official report of damages(?). She asks Miku to file one. Miku refuses, saying she doesn’t want to further humiliate herself or be exposed to the public.

Miku then asks Asuka why she doesn’t try convincing her brother to turn himself in. Asmodeus steps in and says that if Mitsuru is caught red-handed, no one will need to file a report. Asuka replies that in that case, she’d have to catch him in the act and call the police. Asmodeus reassures her, saying there’s no need to be nervous—she’ll be with Asuka when the time comes.

Chapter 49

Asuka is at home in her room when Mitsuru returns. She waits for him to fall asleep so she can check his phone, as Asmodeus requested, in order to find out when he plans to meet Azusa again. On Mitsuru’s phone, Asuka sees that the meeting is scheduled for Friday at 11 p.m. at the Inoue building. She wonders where that is.

Meanwhile, MC has sex with Sekido and Hina, and afterward, he asks Hina to find out what business Miku has with Asuka.

Insight: Regarding Asmodeus' plan… I have a feeling she'll do something to replace Azusa with Asuka, leading Mitsuru to unknowingly do to his own sister what he had intended to do to Azusa.

This. People here are putting a lot of blame on the MC when he's actually a pawn no different than the girls. Even if he manages to find out what's going on with the childhood friend, so what? He isn't the one in charge.
I think this manga is a "Faustian Bargain" type.

If that insight part happens…it would be the kind of Pyrrhic victory that a demon would want to deliver to MC. Rape bully loses fucking everything, Sakuraba has to live with the guilt of two people he cares about getting hurt. It might even qualify as…good writing?
