Chapter 60 - Absolute Word
The chapter opens with the MC and Asmodeus talking while watching from the window of the MC’s room as Imai walks down the street.
MC: "So… what’s the real story?"
Asmodeus: "The real story?"
MC: "The reason you made me sleep with that woman."
Asmodeus: "Didn’t I tell you already? I swear to God it’s the truth."
MC: "Don’t put the responsibility on God… Demon."
Asmodeus: "It was because the previous result wasn't satisfactory enough. I told you, didn't I? You get your revenge, I enjoy it. So you'll have to make me enjoy it even more."
The MC bites his lips in anger after hearing Asmodeus’ last statement.
Asmodeus: "Anyway… That makes three slaves."
MC: "You can’t call her a slave after doing it just once."
Asmodeus: "I’ve adjusted her so that she can only get the maximum pleasure from sex with you. That girl can’t live without having sex with you now."
MC: "Huh?!"
Asmodeus: "Didn't I tell you? Her sensuality and libido have been enhanced. It’s irreversible now, so keeping her close is the kindest thing, don’t you think?"
MC: "Seriously… Do you think I should make her get along with Sekido and Mizuno? Aaah…"
Asmodeus: "Ufufu… Quite the dilemma for the master of the harem, isn’t it?"
MC: "Shut up… S-… So, are you sure there’s another demon?"
Asmodeus: "Yes… But don’t worry, it’s clearly an insignificant one."
MC: "Are you completely sure there’s no problem?"
Asmodeus: "Yes… There’s no problem. Anyway, as a reward for gaining another slave, here’s another marker for you. And I’ll grant you a new special skill."
MC: "Skill?"
Asmodeus: "That’s right. Activate it by grabbing the medal. The skill is called "Absolute Word." It allows you to make a person believe your words unconditionally, once per person."
MC: "Hypnosis, then!?"
Asmodeus: "No. It’s just a temporary measure. Minutes later, the person will start to notice something’s wrong and realize it."
MC: "So… it’s useless, then?"
Asmodeus: "Oh… It depends on how you use it."
Scene change: Miku is giving her testimony at the police station.
Younger Detective: "When we questioned you earlier, why didn’t you report Takeshige-san?"
Miku: "It’s obvious… It’s because I was afraid of that man. I was worried about what he would do if he found out I had reported him…"
Older Detective: "He’s already been referred to the prosecutor… Given the circumstances, it’s impossible for him not to be prosecuted. He’ll go straight from detention to trial. The sentence is uncertain, but it’s unlikely to be less than ten years. In that sense, he no longer poses a threat to you."
Younger Detective: "Although, depending on the circumstances of the trial, the sentence could be reduced. Takeshige-san’s parents aren’t in a condition to deal with that right now…"
Older Detective: "USADA! KEEP YOUR USELESS COMMENTS TO YOURSELF!"
(TL note: Huh, I don’t remember the detectives’ names being mentioned. But I’m too lazy to go back and check, so I’ll just keep calling them Younger Detective and Older Detective.)
Miku thinks, "They’re not in a condition?"
Miku: "So… are you suggesting that I file a report?"
Younger Detective: "If possible."
Older Detective: "We need to know all the details of the crime. We understand that it may be difficult to talk about many things. However, the victim’s confidentiality is guaranteed throughout the trial and other proceedings. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation."
Miku: "…Understood."
The detectives exchange a glance.
Younger Detective: "By the way… to your knowledge, Takeuchi-san, do you know of any other victims of Takeshige-san?"
Miku: "That man mentioned that there were other women like me, but he didn’t specify who… Also… He hinted that he had accomplices who took advantage of women in the same way."
Older Detective: "He wouldn’t be talking about Yuki-kun or Sakuraba-kun, would he?"
(TL note: Yuki was Hina’s boyfriend and the first target of the MC’s “revenge.” He was forced by Asmodeus to take the blame for Miku and Sekido’s kidnapping. Sakuraba is the MC.)
Miku: "I only remember that they were people I didn’t know… I don’t think Sakuraba-kun has anything to do with it."
Younger Detective: "Well… Sakuraba-kun was present at the place where they arrested Takeshige-kun. And we’re not sure if he’s involved in this case."
Miku: "He was just someone who was being harassed by them… If you’re going to suspect someone, shouldn’t it be Kanaoka Takuma?"
The Older Detective gives Miku a serious look when he hears the name Kanaoka Takuma.
(TL note: Kanaoka Takuma and his girlfriend, Mizuho Akishima, are the last remaining members of the group the MC plans to take revenge on. To refresh your memory, in chapter 1, they are the first characters to appear, having sex in an empty classroom at school while the MC guards the door. Additionally, in chapter 36, during a phone conversation between Toshi and Mitsuru, Toshi suggests that Mitsuru ‘give’ Akishima to him, since Mitsuru didn’t want to ‘exchange’ Azusa for Imai yet. Mitsuru vehemently refuses, fearing Takuma’s father, which implies that Takuma’s father is either a powerful criminal or holds a high position in the police force.)
Younger Detective: "Kanaoka-kun? It’s true that he was part of the same group as Yuki-kun and Takeshige-kun, but…"
The Younger Detective think, "Everyone says he’s very loyal to his girlfriend. At least, he doesn’t seem to have any connection to cases like this, where women are subjected to such treatment."
Scene change: Azusa is in her room, sitting on the bed while using her cell phone. She is exchanging messages with Akagi-kun (Toshi). The chapter ends with Azusa lying on the bed, holding her cell phone with a cheerful smile, and saying, “Akagi-kun… He might really be a good person.”
Insight:
Dunno… Considering everything Mitsuru did to Azusa (especially if you know what happens in the extra novel chapter from volume 4), the “revenge” on him feels totally underwhelming.
Also, it’s kind of weird that Toshi is being nice to Azusa, considering what he did to Imai. If we take into account what Sawada-sensei said about her being different from Imai, and the fact that she stated that she loves Toshi, maybe Asmodeus is totally mistaken in thinking she’s dealing with an inferior demon.
That said, I do have some information about the manga’s sales. When the author was promoting the release of volume 7 (released on September 19th) on X, he mentioned that the manga had sold 250,000 copies (physical and digital combined), which is pretty good considering how crappy it is. As for physical sales of volume 7, there isn’t enough data on the Shoseki Ranking yet. Only the first two days of sales are available, which doesn’t provide data to estimate how many copies were sold. However, compared to the daily sales of volume 6, the rankings for these first two days of volume 7 were lower. We’ll have to wait and see if it at least reaches a weekly ranking like all the previous volumes.

General take from the team
Hehe, here’s Chapter 60 of NTRevenge, for all you masochists out there.
A new skill/deus ex machina for later. Finally, the blond guy will be prosecuted, and Semenzusa is in love again.
Miku forgot that Azusa was also a victim, and the cops are still stubbornly clinging to that 1% chance that the one being harassed is the mastermind.
Will the other demon be a MILF? A Loli? Will Azusa sink even further? Does being faithful mean we can’t commit crimes?
Find out in this mess of a “I don’t even remember what the revenge was” revenge.
