It hurt quite bit when they said "You're not our mom", because the realization of such young kids growing up without the mother just hit me. I just wanna ask the parents, "What the hell are ya'll doing, at least visit them once a month or something"
Ya boi Wahei acts the villain to save the family.
The only thing I'm sad about for him is he's getting old and won't have a gf or wife appear at all, because he's taking care of his sisters, because their parents are useless trash.
True he's got a 'family' but its not his own children he's raising.
Then there's the sisters suffering on another hand due to lack of parental care and love...
I don't know how I feel about this chapter. I don't think it's a good thing to encourage their heavy dependency on Hotaka, it's not fair to them or her.
@virgoess Ehhh . . . at that age, they oughtta be heavily dependent on someone. Under the circumstances, she's elected . . . which as you say, isn't fair, but on the plus side she gets the whole-hearted love of two uber-cute sisters so.
I don't agree with this resolution. He basically acted like the bad guy to "resolve" the issue, but it isn't actually dealt with, because the root cause is not addressed.
@GodGinrai
But it is not actually an issue. The twins are still little kids, so them being dependent on, and craving attention from their mother figure is perfectly normal. They don't have to suddenly force them to stop being like this, it is something you gradually grow out of as you get older. There's also the fact that the twins are aware of the fact that they were in the wrong. It's just that they're not yet mature enough to reconcile that knowledge with their feelings.
1) They don't know the twins are aware of the fact they are wrong. We only know that because we see their privates scenes as a reader
2) Regardless of the matter of dependence, the issue that needs resolving is the twins think that goodwill towards others means less towards them.
Families are really tricky. The more harmonious it is, the more fragile yet precious it becomes. But if you were to overcome one problem, it also makes you all stronger. It's truly strange.
