eh.. not a great fan of unique skills. Would've been fine with just a basic skill.
Would've made a good joke, too. Lady Karin bragging about her special skill, everyone speculating about what insane nonsense she'll do, Lady Karin pulls out needle and thread : )

I guess she punched in the normal crafting skills on the way. Lousy system with dungeon loot. Establish a trust or a guardian or something.

The more I think about it the more I think she'll be fine, it's not that much of a loophole but hear me out.
I'm sure they made that law about minor being prohibited from taking dungeon mats home mainly because there's more likely to be a case of someone duping them, or a scam of someone taking advantage of minor going into the dungeon and get them material so they can resell, or basically child labor you could say.

The intention was good, but it fuck up the younger explorer in recent time from making a living, I'm betting it's a really old law since the dungeon was probably a lot more dangerous back then, and they haven't update or change the law until now.

Though in this case Karin gave public info of her using the material for herself instead, the material itself is still legally hers as long as she processes it in the dungeon, the moment it became anything (be it gear, furniture or even scrap) it's not a "loot from a dungeon" anymore so I think she's good.

Edit: cue the FAAH sound cuz it's explained the very next chapter omg bruh :lul:

I was gona say that WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!??!? THE GOVERNMENT ALREADY does that, they SCAM and STEAL from the children LMAO they take ADVANTAGE of a minor going into a dungeon and that this is ALREADY child labor lmao :lul:

But yea they already explain how everything works and its legit trash man, this whole government is absolute TRASH including all the adults who think this is totally ok, like bruh does this world NOT HAVE A RANK system, if they are so scared of children dying for loot then CREATE a RANK system to prevent those who are weak from facing stronger monsters ffs
Instead they create FREE child labor and use the excuse of "ITS FOR THE KIDS SAFETY" as a bullshit excuse :shamihuh:

So yea each new ch makes this world seem worse and worse, feelsbadman for MC and her smart friend OTL :aquadrink:

This is covered in the WN.

Basically, the law is supposed to prevent the exploitation of minors - either by sending them into the dungeon (or just suggesting they might want to do that to make money) which will get them killed.

There is also a government-sponsored scheme in place where adult parties can take on a junior member as an apprentice, but their drops are meant to be left due to the law (in practice, the party are going to claim any drops as a party and sell them, and black "clans" are going to act like black companies always do. They can similarly exploit adult members with useful unique skills, of course.

In an upcoming volume, Our Lady will encounter such an exploited minor, who also has <divine artisan>, and will NOT be happy about that....

Does seem to take advantage but only by shady sources. It's disentivising children from enter dungeon because can't bring drops back for money, so train then when adult and prepare to enter dungeon. Japan already has population issues outside of novel setting, so having reckless kids enter caused fatalities, it's why they made this change

ah so this is basically Black company advertisement the manga :shamihuh:

Like I said all they have to do is either ban children from going to dungeons OR issue a rank of power system like MOST series do
but in here they don't because they STEAL from children instead aka a black company aka child slavery :shamihuh:

Thx anyways for the info

Yeah, to extend the spoiler...
A subsidiary clan of the same group who is shielding Shadow Wolf is running a <divine artisan> skill holder down into the lower layers in order to level up their skill, and abandon them when an irregular monster appears; the subsidiary clan is definitely a black company analogue, but is a subsidiary (in common black company practice) so that, should they get caught and the political fallout get too hot to handle, they can be sacrificed by the main clan distancing themselves from this disgraced group who the bosses CLEARLY didn't know were doing this....
So yes, the stated purpose of the law is given lip service by black clans; the other result is that any minors that try and take resources out of the dungeon themselves have them confiscated by the guards and kept by the Dungeon Authority - a nicely profitable grift that is now biting them.
