Skill copy when used like this always makes the person feel shady lol. You mean he keeps his party there just to use their powers? He’s really just probing for information abour other people’s skills before revealing that he could copy it with a handshake? His style isn’t about working with the actual skill holder and doubling their effective strength by fighting in tandem, but seemingly monopolizing it?
I’m always happy to be wrong, but initially it’s not a good look!

Exactly this...
Its not he is going to "transform" in a housewife as people are joking here, like we saw it in the chapter, he copied the skill from his pal who is a swords woman, yet he still being a martial artist but now he also can use a swordman skill, so possibly he can copy the "skill attack/power" from the ladle and the pot lid without change class to "housewife" worse yet, he can further enhance it to use for himself.
Only guess if he can copy the skill she used against the last demon but further more powerful. Doesn't matter if looks ridiculous, but something that powerful, he is going to try to monopolize it, It's obvious he's the manipulator type. shady AF that they dont fight as team but instead he being the only one fighting using everyone's skills, so he keeps growing but all the others' grow got stagnant.
I am only guessing, but im betting his skill has unwanted secondary effects for the people from whom he copy their skills, like borrowing too much a skill allow him to "claim" the skill as his own effectively stealing it from the original owner, he is going to copy the skill from our FMC, get drunk in power and abuse it, only for the backslash from the point system to be so huge than he will end up at level one or better yet with a minus/negative lvl.
