Yeah that's a good point, why would the mother get married and hook her daughter up with a much older man if they only needed her to get pregnant? Maybe the MC looks a lot like the dead father?
Man I feel bad for the MC, he seems to be just a tool for them.

There are two routes here that seem to be possible. We either have the route of Hiroto being treated as a breeding horse for the development of "papa" that they want to reincarnate, or they want to live by their deceased papa's words and who maybe wanted them to be happy with someone who can treat them well with a kid of their own.

We either have the path of like cooperative healing or the insane reincarnation pathing but either way hopefully mc has it in him to rehabilitate them lmao.

I suppose we'll see if this is simply a matter of getting a male child who looks like the father, or something like an occult ritual. It could even be a sort of eternal cycle, with the mama and the papa being reborn again and again, some sort of utterly fucked up chain of incest where people get pulled in to make it continue.

This chapter feels ominous ngl, but the whole "let's revive your late father by having you give birth to the baby of your stepfather" feels unlikely to me. I think the oyakodon duo wants to do something the original father desired, whatever that is.

Either sacrificing, disposing him after they have a baby, or killing him if he tries to runaway and they look for another looking suitor. I could see the end where the daughter has a child and the MC is mysteriously gone; which will then create this creepy cycle again
