every time i see those wagons it pisses me off oh you got a fancy shield for the troops cool cool so like won't that reflect any attack straight onto the horses you know the one's pulling the wagon ya??? right oh i guess he could care less about a horse personally i love horses so it pisses me off more

MC has plot armor so probably Espada has a magical shield over the horses

Here it shows him wavering and considering visiting Van's territory to see him under the pretext of his son getting a title for committing a great deed.
In the novel he remains completely dismissive and says it's all complete fabrications until Van arrives and saves his life by rescuing the fortress which was about to fall at the second battle against Yelenetta

I mean, he literally says it's a ridiculous rumor on page 5. And only mentions visiting as a concession since he's going to be in the area. Not really a nice or kind response.

This is a few chapters later, but that's still basically what happens. In the next chapter, he gets saved, but never knows it was Van at all. He doesn't get clued into this fact, until Chapter 40, and he still doesn't really believe it, when Panamera says it was probably Van.

So incredibly grateful for these full chapter releases. I only discovered this manga yesterday and the manhwafreak and utoon translations are painful to read.
