Although I was MIA the lastest two chapters (which was the reason why the lastest two releases had some mistakes),
I used to stay up all night just to work on this series. I even have college, but I still manage to find some time especially for this series, even though I get quite a lot of assignments. So it's just really demoralizing to see someone snipe us. The same's the case for almost all of my members like @Mizuhaya.

I agree with all the comments below. The quality work is not bad, actually it's enjoyable.
I would use the energy on other manga/series that have been dropped or MTL. Leave this series to the group that already picked it up.

@Henlohenlo I disagree with the below comments. You even mentioned you'd upload later than them as a courtesy. They're just salty that they're being compared since it might cut into potential donations/patreons. As first uploader they'd get the bulk of exposure from manga site crawlers/rippers and comments anyway. As Ko/En translator/scanslator myself who's also worked solo before, your understanding of Korean and English localization is superior
I want through page by page of comparing the two versions, and I don't see what they're talking about in "copying" edits. There are only so many ways to clean semitrasnparent dialogue bubbles. It's not like large SFX cleaning and redrawing was done.

@BarakRhys Really, if you care about scanslation morality/sniping, you guys are sniping from the licensed official English LINE webtoon version They're only 3ch behind at ch 30. That's really not that much. You're directly reducing their revenue because the most recent 7 chapters (ch24-30)are pay-to-view on their app for impatient readers. What about their actual rights, the webtoon.com team's headaches and stress that snipes cause??

@Henlohenlo you can just ignore the other group. It's not like this was the first manhwa to have separate groups (or a group and an individual) working on it. I read both versions anyways, and both have sides that I like and not. Personally, even though there are some typos here and there, I like how the flow of dialogues are more easy to read, and how you seems to take some of the conversations directly from the novel. I appreciate that. At the end though, it all depends on your decision.

@BarakRhys The individual has said that they will update later than yours as a courtesy. All the other aggregator sites will take your scanlation and comment and praise your group for it. Isn't that enough? And I read and compare the pages, there's no 'copying edits', like, what the heck are they supposed to do if the raw is already like that?? Not translating it?

Stop being salty about it. Everyone who were using this website is all illegal, stop talking about morality of sniping and what not. Unless you're going to stop the fanscanlation and join the official webtoon translation, you also did not have any leg to stand about morality here.

Good work, and even though you're posting after FLAME-scans they're still bitchy about, bruh...
Could've just kept it to himself, since most of the people read the first chapter that comes out, but now I am looking forward to your translations!

Here’s my thing. If one version is significant worse quality than the other... Well ofc I’d side with the better quality version snipe or not. But in this case both were great.

I agree with that there really is no reason to snipe this. Having been part of groups myself I can also understand it being demoralizing. However... Does that really warrant all the bitching below? Seriously. No one has copyright to these series. Rather than the bitchy attitude, an individual scanlator with courtesy of uploading later seems much more appealing to me.

Though it still comes down to who can upload this for longer and not drop it lol. Readers are very materialistic.

In any case, keep up the great work!

I just read solo scans- because they are usually done completely solo which takes a lot more work than splitting between group members.

From what I have seen you could be translating other works that have been dropped but have large amount of chapters backed up. If you wanna keep translating this one that's fine I just hope you consider doing series many want to see revived without worrying about competition or unintentionally sniping

his mother killed his father and went to jail. she wrote a successful novel and the funds for that went to dokja's early life expenses. (even bigger spoiler here, don't click if you don't want a big one>>)
