This must be parody. What a hilarious sentence to read.It really is depressing how basic empathy for people who actually do the hard work of gender subverting in the real world is too much to ask. But kind of a sign of our times, honestly.

I do have a single friend in Facebook to who I talk to everyday about how dumb the current generation is unironically and how words are just words, but only one, true anime/manga fans don't have more than one friend and he is a childhood friend from before Facebook existed anyway. He loves the Onimai OP way more than I do, even has it as a ringtone. I'm not american and while my country is still kinda safe and still use the OG terms for everything, the US's twitter ideology is slowly creeping into it, which is not good at all.Whatever, grandpa. Why don't you go complain on Facebook how kids these days won't let you call a spade a spade anymore?
My guy, I literally registered to this forum four days after you. I've been saying this stuff since I got here. I've been here. If you haven't seen me in other threads saying the same thing you just haven't been paying attention.Tourists still screeching lmao
Unlike you I can distinguish between a work of fiction and real life and not spazz out about itMy guy, I literally registered to this forum four days after you. And I don't know what you think, but to me the definition of screeching is making a whole lot of noise when the other side has a point you can't refute. In this case... yes, if I must repeat myself.
1. "Trap" recalls the gay panic defense.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_panic_defense
2. It frames gender subversion -- something on paper WE ALL LOVE here supposedly, we love Onimai pissing scenes and all -- from the perspective of a surprised straight male. Implicitly for comedy, but I've seen videos of angry young men screaming about how we have to get the "fu**ing traps" out of society before they get taken down.
... hey while I'm at it?
If people want you dead I think you're entitled to some "screeching". Even if that isn't what I'm doing. So I'd ask you show some patience/kindness with Zblurth or whoever else feels threatened in this political climate, regardless of how well they communicate it. If that basic bit of humanity is too much to ask that says much more about you IMO.
You know what you're right I'm sick of people like MidnighTea I'm going back to using trap.Unlike you I can distinguish between a work of fiction and real life and not spazz out about it
Do you think I go up to people irl and call them traps? What are you, a twitter user?
Tf are you dragging gay panic defense into this? I didn't see anyone hurt anyone here, why are you leaping to conclusions. Show me the chapter where Nayuta tries to stab Mahiro for being a dude, that shit didn't happen, stop screeching about some schizo anglo society strategy used by their lawyers to bullshit their charges in court
Onimai clearly isn't trying to explore any deep meaning into sexuality of any kind, trans or not. Why are you imposing irl shit into a fictional work that has nothing to do with it. Typical tourist mindset, or should I say evangelical mindset cuz this shit is like getting preached to at the most irrelevant times and it's getting annoying

The BL aesthetic is great
Transphobic slur aside, I'm pretty sure people know the difference. That's not the point. The point is that trans people are in the fandom with you and they are sensitive to the word for the above reasons, so how about growing a heart somewhere in there for a freaking change.Traps have been around long before tro*ns were. I don't need to be the one to tell you that they are distinctly different concepts, and some culturally unrelated murder case from half the world away doesn't change that fact. pack it up.
Very literally a trans woman is who kicked off the Stonewall Riot in 1969. This was the beginning of a sea change for the LGBT community, not just in the USA but worldwide. So no, we've always been here. I mean no offense but your inability to see us comes from your own lack of perception. And your hostility to being invited towards empathy says more about you than us, I'm sorry.Traps have been around long before tro*ns were.
