from what I read online, the puzzle game Helltaker was created because the creator could find a lot of images of cute girls in skimpy clothes but not on his personal preference: stylish, fit suits.
After the success of his game, and of the girls in it, the number of images fitting his likes increased greatly.

I did not even imagine such modern adornless black suits would exist in this world. I thought it would be the colorful, extravagant ones or nothing.
But no. Even this chapter's "bad guy" only looked like someone that thought "shiny means attractive", not someone from medieval fantasy.
Which... makes sense. The faces of the group are not there to draw the attention. And how many times would you expect to meet a champion MMA fighter just... serving at a food joint without any advertisement around but for the food?

It's the same as most other stories that have a self insert MC smack down clownishly antagonistic enemies on the regular, just that the protags are women instead of Kirito but insert minor change here. I for one enjoy it.

It honestly feels like a Hollywood girl boss movie where the MC is an overpowered girl and all men are utterly retarded or evil… or both.
At least the MC isn’t insufferable here, and yuri good.

I mean from what I read from the me-too movement adjacent male people, 100% of the women they knew were subject to something in that kind.
Misogyny is also a lot more present in korea and japan than on the west, by that I mean more pronounced and violent.

I was talking about the creator of Helltaker, and how he would approve of the main girls' clothing here because he made his game exactly to have more art of women in suits.
I'd bet more on the author here being female, because as far as I know those are the ones with more yuri couples in their works.
...Or more gay couples in general, true, but even though male authors are more sporadic their gay couples are in majority yaoi and rarely yuri.
