Pretty sure the 18+ you're talking about is just a "magical girl transformation" type of thing, right?
Exactly my thought, verbatim. Also, in many ways it's literally a "magical girl transformation." I mean, this entire story is abundant with magical girl tropes if you look closely. This might invoke the trope and get the princess to join the rank, too.

Tanya not udnerstanding how not having a heir is problematic just shows how ignorant she is.
The setting is so exageratted that it is just taken as granted that "women are unjustly abused" in that world then at times something like this comes up and shows that everything is a sham...

That's too little personnel for the royal convoy. Premeditated murder covered up by accident?

Putting aside the inherent sexism of a patriarchal society (literally patriarchy, lol), IRL the king would have concubines with whom could also produce potential heirs should the legal wife not produce any children. Plus, babymaking is a 2-person affair in first place. So yes it's an unfair demand.

Corsets are not meant to prevent you from breathing properly AND SHE DOESN'T LOOK POOR ENOUGH TO NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD A PROPER CRAFTSMEN TO CRAFT HER A PROPER CORSET, WHY AUTHOR, WHY.

From what I heard in older times people did wear corsets a bit too tight to the point of slowly becoming dangerous just in the name of fashion, though, until Marie Antoinette popularized a type of dress that did not need one.

...but I got the last part from another manga, so who can say for sure.

From what i seen from a person who actually wears a corset (I actually found her video
) it's fine. Perhaps certain women choose to hurt themselves, but by default this wasn't an issue.

well, from what I had heard it was more a fashion statement issue that led them to making them so tight than is healthy, not actual proper usage

which... still happens from time to time even nowadays whith other matters. and when you consider how this society seems to be, with women forced to dress and act and the like...
