At first I saw the branch in front of the bag as attention to detail. Nope, it was foreshadowing a plot-relevant branch.

Mie the goat girl is probably not wicked. Just exploring the boundaries of kindness with jealousy. I bet Mie experienced some unkind behavior before, and so is untrusting of Olivia and Noah. Hopeful this is a redemption arc and not a things-get-bad arc.
