It wasn't about Ayano. She used Ayano being horny as an excuse so Souta could take his first love out on a date.

It was only after finding out that Ayano took his first time that it became about Ayano to her. Kaoru is in denial, but she wanted to take his first time herself (even though it is taboo). So now, Ayano handed Kaoru her first loss as a woman too.
