Though if the story does devolve into the two characters fucking for several panels/pages every chapter from this latest one onwards, then it'd prob be warranted. We'd have to hear from people familiar with the original work and the raws to see if this is the case. I doubt this is it though.

Tried this cause the art is gorgeous and heard great things but was massively disappointed. It's almost impressive how it manages to be dumber than the average isekai slop by a fair margin(And this actually feels like it's trying to be smart and failing while the average isekai feels like they don't care how dumb it gets and they still come out ahead). I LOVED the old "Arcanum: of steamworks and magic obscura" game and was interested when I heard this had a similar premise but that game treated similar world developments insanely well unlike this.

Maybe my expectations were too high cause of the great art and I'll give it another shot later but for now it's been a complete letdown.

That's clearly your own fault. The story is not only great subjectively, it does parallels very well (to a point). Albeit the pacing is fast but anything slower then it becomes boring, but that's just the reality of adaptations. I'm not sure how it's dumb from your perspective because that argument doesn't make sense.

Lastly I feel that the battle in the waves will be brutal it look like the naval battle of britain vs germany and world war 1 where britain is had the numbers of fleet, but inland is a different story a large troops for our orcsen here with our dark elf integration plus small aerial asset. We can pull a full push but then a again. I was worried about the rivers or anything that can halt the advance. If the story is into an accurate depiction of war this will be a chokepoint for our orcsen troops and a theory for me form this episode, a possible deep sabotage and attack by our dark elfs troops here to cover the crossing of our orcsen allies. And a posible back and forth win and defeat for our dark elf girls. We can expect deep lost on the open wars on the white elf side but some important and sad lost for us on the dark elf side (less loses but that what we need to expect in war(if we go to a realistic scenario) so let's enjoy)
I just like to share my mind on this on going manga. I really love how the translation is going and I hope you keep it up and the story was peak love! ❤️❤️😍

given the WW1 german aesthetics, the meritocracy/nationalist vibes, and the comedically evil antagonists, I expected the sudden heel turn where the protagonists invade over an absolutely bogus casus belli. still disappointed though. also milsimmers who act like that tend to make mid officer matieral, ironically.
