Average 2023-2024 authors naming their own mangas: Make the title a literal fucking description for the manga due to their own inability to think of a word, phrase or statements that would sum up their manga in some way.
Four chapters in and this shit is actually funnier than most mangas I've seen though.
Or maybe it's the Vietnamese translators' fault. Because holy fuck mates, it's just incredible.

It's not terrible, but it's basing all its humor on exaggerated characterization to the point where it crowds out actual plot development and strategy. "Oh, the glutton shattered the magical illusion for us because there was food in the real world, because she's a glutton ahahaha!"
It's not like it's impossible to base your meta on the fuzzier conceptual stuff, and officially say "this person can't be beat at doing this stuff because it's in the purview of their mystical archetype", and I've seen some mangas do it well.
But they take it seriously and think about it. This author kinda doesn't.

I like the progress this has made and as of ch12 i'll say it's well above average for this kind of story. Strongest point of this are the side characters, they are wholesome and colorful, not very trope-y and just what Lloyd needed in his life after leaving his abusive relationship.

I’m enjoying this one a lot. Entertaining and many of the characters are memorable. It’s actually funny that much of the story is actually development of the side characters and not the MC. Most likely intentional but randomly the MC will pop in to be OP, then it’s back to side character development.

It’s a nice change from the usual stuff. Hope it goes for a long long time. Thanks for all the translations so far!

I'm honestly kind of impressed that the title is an entire paragraph synopsis and also a total lie. In 19 chapters, the MC is fighting the demon king and saving the world.

What about "Low Chance of Gathering Materials"? That literally meant nothing and did not affect the story in any way.

What about his slow life? That lasted like 3 chapters and he's throwing castles and temples around fighting giant monsters.

Also what does a 40% success rate gathering materials even mean? If he bends down to pick a flower does he fail and have to just keep grabbing it? The success rate could be 1% and it still wouldn't matter since he's apparently the strongest person alive.
