Imo. Regardless of whose translating it, I will say thank you first and foremost, and secondly, idc regardless about the quality of it as long as the story is readable, doesn't get too lost on the context, and not get butchered is the most important. That doesn't mean I'm saying the previous TL is not good or anything, no. It's just that for the person who's working on this is doing it for free and with their own spare time, so quality like ts/cl/rd for me can be put aside first whilst the main priority is the TL of the story itself.

And well, aside from the long ass paragraph I wrote. In the end whether you want to release pt. 2 or not is up to you. And also don't feel pressured or anything cause we (readers) imo are beggars, and well. Beggars can't be choosers 🙃.

So yeah well.. tl;dr, if you want to release pt. 2 and so on, I will thank you and most of the comments will too. But if you don't, thank you also for releasing the chapters and actually giving a thought whether you want to continue this tragic trainwreck dumpster fire or not:salute:

At the end of Ch 13 the CHF is about to tell the class her story and then… nothing related to that happened in the next chapter?

That’s quite a strong opinion. While I appreciate people doing things out of goodwill, and yes, it’s free, consider this: if someone asked you to commentate a live sport for them because they are blind, and you did a poor job, you’d be ruining the experience for them. Either do it well enough or don’t do it at all—there should be some standards. I understand the person is handling the translations solo, but it wouldn’t hurt to get some proofreaders or QA involved. I’m sure there would be plenty of volunteers.

I don’t think this is a “beggars can’t be choosers” situation. There are plenty of titles that don’t get translated, and we manage just fine. I can get by with machine translations for some series myself, but I don’t upload them because no one should experience a piece of art or story that way.

Thanks for the trans. Your translation is way better than previous 14.2 one. One the last page, they can't event know what "す” is refer to what when it is very clear abt "硯川" :ROFLMAO:

You should have standards. This bullshit is how we get morons thinking that they can fuck up as hard as they like, or that the garbage they put out is fine. But the fact is, the first upload gets caught by aggregators. The more comfortable they feel uploading shit, the more often most readers will get garbage.

I get the Scalation community have high standards and there are many of us very grateful for that. However the way new translators are berated and ridiculed for poor translations on their first attempts is partly why so many people are fearful of getting involved. Everyone was new to something once and really think people could be a little bit more supportive in encouraging them to develop their skills rather than tearing them a new one just for having a go.

That said @Shantsu this is a much better translation so thanks and yes please do continue!
