We know how messed up the dude is, but he presents in-universe as super hi-spec and quirky rather than emotionally dead and salty about it. The fact that there are two similarly hi-spec girls openly thirsting for him only makes him more interesting to the other females around him. Is it a bit silly how many he's pulling? Sure, but it was also insane how terrible his fortunes with life itself had been until he got to HS and the universe reversed his karma all at once. It's not meant to be realistic.

Why did he get in trouble? Same reason someone like Haruka in Loner Life does: everyone is worried about him and overreacts to the trouble he still gets into by defaulting into overprotective mode. Again, exaggerated for comedic effect and not meant to be taken entirely seriously.

She does have lore related to Yukito and Himeyama but you don't find out about it until later. She was his teacher back in grade school, but at this point in the story Yukito probably dosen't remember. It doesn't get talked about until chapter 46 of the WN (This chapter starts with chapter 32 of the WN)

Wow this author really had no idea what the fuck they were doing huh. The last like 4 chapters are completely incongruous with everything before them.

Basically a completely different tone and story with an almost different MC. This is garbage.

In all honesty I am kinda disappointed by this manga. At start it seemed to be a drama - MC having issue with false allegations and stuff and him slowly getting through it with help of a new friend(s) - old ones regretting being assholes. So basically something ala Nyanta and Pomeko which I liked quite a lot.

But now its more like an idiotic comedy harem, even all the troubles MC gets into are kinda like your typical harem - just maybe its not "henti power where he falls all the time and takes panties off of girls or hugging them and touching their tits", or him being a dense neutron star not seeing how all the girls love him, but its still there.

Still will read it, but I feel cheated. Like I was been told this will be one thing, but it was a different stuff. Like I was promised cheesecake, but it ended up being ice-cream just shaped and decorated to look like one. I like both so its fine, but there is still that mismatch disappointment?
