Kazuya uncle (Ojisan) version
Honestly the same complaint I had about Okaeri. They're both following the same playbook. This manga feels like a poor man's Okaeri, Papa.
The author keeps trying to make everything feel tense all the time, but it ends up feeling dumb and tired instead.
It also doesn't help when the MC is so fucking dull.
The source of tension is different. MC here is still using his yandere to for his benefit at work. If he were capable enough, he wouldn't have gotten into the situation in the first place (being pushed into interview her). This manga feels like a poor man's Okaeri, Papa.

Yeah it feels like MC is lacking something not sure what it is. Yeah the papa show was genuinely creepy it had its moments of levity, but also getting even and the creep factorThis manga feels like a poor man's Okaeri, Papa.

Yeah it's an interesting comparison on your right the MC in the papas series doesn't realize how screwed he isThe source of tension is different. In Oakeri, Papa, the MC is unaware of the noose getting tighter and only gets occasional glimpses of what is happening.
This one is more of a thriller while Okaeri Papa hits psychological horror.
Put another way, our guy here is a mouse toyed by a cat, the guy in Okaeri Papa doesn't know he's already dead.
