That's why I said it feels eerie. It is partially because I see Amagi as still, a replacement for his parents, like a little monkey hugging a steel representation of a mother (Look up Harry Harlow's baby monkey experiment).
Sure, it's flesh and blood, all that, but this still feels like someone having a character.ai girlfriend because they can't get one. It's both a sad and scary sight, considering the direction teens and youngsters are headed to in this age of technology. It's that parallel I'm seeing, where one does not reciprocate another, or an "act" of it.

It is eerie because Amagi is not a real, independent person. She is subservient by design and created to put her master before herself in all aspects. So they can't have a healthy relationship as equals because they're not equals. They're master and slave, regardless of how benevolent the master is and how happy the slave is.

The child is the only reason I don't want the mother to actually just die. But unfortunately the child will suffer, or at least have hardship, simply because their mother is a piece of shit without a support system. That doesn't mean their life will turn out badly though.
