Fucking fujoushi. It'd be one thing if it was done occasionally, but that becomes her defining trait. This manga is definitely based on the LN, rather than the WN.

ughh, this misunderstanding-based storylines are just so garbage, why do Japanese like these so much? I would have preferred if this "master" never came back, but instead he showed up in the story super quickly again zzz

@Thunderator It's because misunderstanding-based storylines are really easy to write. This is especially true of there's enough dumbassery to label a given story as a comedy or comedy/something. The dumber it is, the more you can claim that it's supposed to be funny. It's not unique to Japan; pretty much every sitcom the world over is almost entirely made up of these stupid misunderstanding plots. Even something only as lighthearted as a serious superhero comic uses this trope as a way to get a quick fight out of two heroes meeting each other for the first time.

How did caretakers not investigated their lord's host continuously ever since they were deciding on stay-in training? You never stop double and triple check on all possible threats to sole lord of the land without heirs!

How long has he been gone at this point ? I thought it had been around a year ? At least months ? And this is his first phone call home ? A king for an entire planet and he's not checking in every day ? Not even once a week ?

Suspension of disbelief only goes so far.

I get he's spent years already in hibernation-education stasis but he wasn't very involved in the ruling at that point. More importantly, he was under their watchful eyes at all times then, not literally light-years away.
